The teachers gathered in school for the first meeting with Sr. Shyma on the 31st of July 2021. They took this opportunity to greet the Sisters for the Feast of St. Claudine Thevenet. The meeting was followed by a tea to celebrate the occasion.

It gives me immense joy to write a message for our school website. Convent of Jesus and Mary, Waverley is a boarding school for girls and is ranked among the best schools of Dehradun in Uttarakhand. As a new principal, I feel honoured and privileged to lead this prestigious institution which has already completed 175 years of its glorious existence. From the time of its inception in 1845, our school is renowned for its value based education and integral formation. Apart from the usual academic facilities, our school provides a wide variety of opportunities for extracurricular activities. Regularly conducted residential educational and life orientation programmes provide a stable and supportive environment for the students to live and learn together as one family. This is probably one of the reasons why this institution is often seen by the parents as centre for their wards’ all round development and a sure platform for their great career and bright future. The family atmosphere created by the spiritual guidance and support of the sisters, the motherly care of the hostel wardens, generous approach of the non-teaching staff always make the students feel that they are not away from home.
